MY CURRENT BODY OF WORK EXPLORES THE TENSION BETWEEN MY BITTERSWEET MEMORIES AND THE UNCERTAINTY OF THEIR BEGINNINGS. THIS FRAGMENTATION OF MEMORY BECOMES LESS ABOUT FACTS OF WHAT OCCURRED AND MORE ABOUT THE SUBJECTIVE EXPERIENCE. I USE A COMBINATION OF IMAGES TO BUILD COLLAGES. ALLOWING MEMORIES TO BE REIMAGINED AS LARGE SCALE PAINTINGS. I MANUFACTURE A LINGERING SENSE OF DANGER WHERE A FABRICATED NARRATIVE GIVES FORM TO THE INTANGIBLE. THESE AREN'T PRECISE RETELLINGS OF SPECIFIC EVENTS BUT STAND INS FOR THESE EMOTIONALLY COMPOUNDED RECOLLECTIONS.
I USE OIL PAINT TO LAYER AND SCRAPE THE SURFACE OF THE PAINTING. SHIFTING BETWEEN HEAVY MARKS AND SOFT WASHES, THIS CREATES DEPTH AND INSTABILITY IN MY IMAGERY, EXPLOITING THE DISTANCE BETWEEN MEMORY AND REALITY. FIGURES DISSOLVE INTO THEIR SURROUNDINGS BY SMUDGING THEIR EDGES. FURTHER BLURRING THE BOUNDARIES BETWEEN PAST RECOLLECTIONS AND CURRENT EXPERIENCES AS I CREATE

Whether you're exploring a themed painting of the month or requesting a custom design, Sydne will guide you step-by-step to create your masterpiece. Vendor Pop Ups
Our venue provides opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurs to host pop-up events and promote their brands. Vendors can choose between hosting a private event or participating in a collaborative vendor marketplace or festival-style event. Each vendor will pay a one-time booth fee for participation, with both indoor and outdoor spaces available. These events are open to the public and welcome all types of businesses, not just those within the art community.
Game nights, Karaoke nights, & private events
Join us for exciting game nights and karaoke sessions where guests can enjoy food, music, and friendly competition. Game nights feature tournaments with prizes for select winners, while karaoke nights offer an opportunity to sing your heart out in a fun and relaxed setting.
